Q1 Carbon are a new and innovating company within the voluntary carbon offsets industry investing in projects throughout the world. We are based in the City of London, and our new and rapidly expanding team are truly passionate about the climate crisis, and helping to make a difference to our planet for future generations. Our Mission is to become a leading organisation for Voluntary Carbon Offsetting for both individuals and businesses within the UK and worldwide.
Increased Carbon Dioxide (CO₂e) emissions in the atmosphere are the biggest cause of global warming on our planet. By planting trees and funding carbon offsetting projects, we remove and prevent further CO₂e emissions around the globe in the most cost effective and impactful way, and Q1 Carbon are passionate in taking our projects forward to enable the planet to survive.
Focus
Every decision we make and every product we launch should be in service of our mission. There is no room for distractions, however attractive they may be.
Collaboration
Getting to net zero will require collaboration on a planetary scale. We aim to promote collaboration internally and across industries, and even competitors to achieve our ultimate goal.
Trust
We don’t put pressure on any new client to prove themselves. Instead we start with maximum trust capital to enable autonomous and distributed decision making from day one the rest is up to you.
Integrity
Carbon markets are opaque, complex and lack the trust of those who can enable change. Integrity, or doing the right, not the easy thing, is imperative to successfully scale the market to where it needs to be.
Science
We trust the scientific consensus on climate change and the solutions to solve it. We base every decision we make on reliable research data and are not afraid to change our mind when presented with new data we can trust.
Transparency
Transparency is our default way of operating, both internally and externally. We have to make an argument for something to be confidential, rather than the opposite.
